Dollar Academy Poppies
In 2018 I was asked by Gavin Burnett to help create a metal form ''kind of like brambles or barbed wire.. you know that sort of thing" that could display the 1000 or so poppies that had been made by Gavin and the Pupils and Staff at Dollar Academy. It would have be relatively easy to attach the Poppies and remove them afterward so the children could take them home. I started by creating a visualisation in VR using Tilt Brush so we could get an idea of scale and then it was a lot of bending and welding
